Sunday Funday

I love Sundays because of the random small moments of love that pop up now and then. Like Oliver holding Marion’s hand on the way to the bus stop.

Snuggles and selfies on the bus!

Marion and Daddy went home a different way than the rest of us so we could “race”. They won because the rest of us ended up on a tram that stopped in the middle of the road for 10 minutes while deciding if there was room to squeeze past a car parked a bit out into the street. Marion loved her Daddy time.

Oliver helped James get dressed. He was so sweet with him the whole time, even when James didn’t really want to cooperate. These are the parenting moments when my heart just feels so full of love and gratitude.

Last Sunday we went down by the canal and the kids play Pooh Sticks. It was such a nice way to spend time together before church. After Oliver declared the winner of a couple rounds of Pooh Sticks, we walked along through the forest and had a small snack before heading to church.

After deciding it was hopeless to try and get a picture of all the kids looking normal instead of making weird faces, Chris and I decided just to take a picture of us. We know how to smile. We got a little photo bomber. I love these people! I love the small simple moments of love and kindness that happen in our family. They bring me hope, joy, and peace. I am going to be on the lookout for these little moments every day.
