Sometimes we all go to work with Chris. I help out at the warehouse and the kids read, play, and find fun ways to amuse themselves with cardboard and office supplies.
On those days we often get pastries on the way to work. We like the Geier bakery in the train station. The pastry with strawberries looked better than it tasted, but the one with all the fruit had a really delicious pastry cream and a croissant-like dough. It is a new favorite of mine.
James was sleepy on the way to work and gave me lots of hugs and snuggles.
Oliver and I enjoyed another pastry that had a croissant dough and was filled with a sweet nut paste. I have never had a pastry quite like it – usually the dough is different than that for nut filled pastries. It was super yummy and Oliver declared it his favorite.
