Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum in St. George

My sister Lisa and her daughter Jessie came to visit us last month for a few days. It was super exciting because the last time she was here my whole family had the flu and then her family kept either being sick or having conflicts when she was trying to come back to visit. Yay! We finally managed to get together!
We went to the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum in St. George. They gave the kids binoculars and we all had audio guides. The animals were arranged by different habitat areas. It was a really neat layout and I enjoyed walking around looking at all the animals.
There was also a children’s room where the kids could touch a few of the animals. Marion fell in love with this kitty.
There was also a little fort the kids really enjoyed playing in and some puzzles and toys.
Marion also really liked to bug room. She loves bugs and thought these big beetles were pretty neat.
This display is pretty awesome.
I loved the binoculars. Oliver really enjoyed using his.
Elora liked seeing all the different kinds of bears.
Marion had Grandma lift her up to see some of the smaller animals like the ducks and also the water. There were little ponds and sometimes waterfalls that she liked to look at. There were also simulated thunder storms every half hour where there would be thunder sounds and the room would be darkened. This kids actually really enjoyed it and had fun making spooky noises when the room went dark.
Oliver listed the audio guide for awhile. I have no idea what he learned about because he would just type in whatever random number he felt like and then listen for awhile. I was surprised that he was actually listening to it!
James loves animals, so he liked walking around pointing to things. He really liked the giraffe.
There is a leopard hiding behind this giraffe and I didn’t even see it. Oliver and Elora didn’t see it either, but Marion picked it out and ran over to see it. It was so funny that she was so observant when the rest of us completely missed it.
Marion loves cats, so she enjoyed the Africa section of the museum with the lions.
Back in the kids room, Elora and Jessie dressed up in camo and played with the bear. It was a really fun museum, I am glad we checked it out!
