DisneyWorld Part 1

Last April Chris was going to be working in Florida for a month, so I drove to Nana’s house and she flew with me to Florida with all the kids so they could see their Dad for a little while. We decided to go to Disney World! Here is Oliver on the monorail on our very first day.
Pirates of the Caribbean was a big hit with the kids, especially the pirate shop at the end.
We also really enjoyed Aladdin’s Magic Carpet ride. I had never been on it before and it was pretty fun. James spent a lot of time sleeping in the baby sling.
But he woke up just in time to enjoy It’s a Small World. He really loved it.
All of kids loved the Winnie the Pooh ride. Even Elora. It is so cute to see their little faces on these fun rides.
It was quite hot, so we got ice cream while waiting for the parade.
Oliver – aka, the lazy one – in the stroller while the other kids stood to watch the parade. They all loved the dancing and all the characters, and since we were right in front a lot of characters came up to the kids.
Marion was scared of Jafar – he came up and motioned for her to share an apple at while point she turned and came to mom! He was SO TALL! It was pretty funny though.
We stayed at a house with a pool and the kids really loved swimming most days. Marion always had an excessive amount of floating devices.
James liked the water too! He usually reaches for Daddy in the pool because then he gets to swim around a lot.
Elora loved it – she is our little fish.
Oliver had fun with his huge amount of flotation devices also. These kids sure love water!
James is such a sweet baby. He was really good on this trip, even though it had a lot of long days! All the kids were so excited to spend time with Daddy in a fun, new place.
