St. George Fun

We went down to St. George to check out the new children’s museum. It was free in December. It is AMAZING. The kids had a great time. We could have stayed way longer than we did, we didn’t even have time to see it all. There is a neat castle themed area that the kids really liked.

There are really fun dress up clothes and the kids had fun posing for pictures.

There are even little miniature castle bedrooms to play in.

Elora wanted lots of pictures taken in the room – this is my favorite though. The wall paintings are really nice.

This was the desert themed room with little animal holes to crawl around in and explore.

There was a little tree house with windows in it that James and Marion really got a kick out of.

This was the science room. Elora liked the tornado.

James found a chair just his size – he loves chairs.

Elora and Oliver did a great job sorting the mail.

James was very fascinated by milking the cow. Real liquid comes out of the udder and he thought that was pretty cool.

There was a nice little restaurant area and Elora liked the dress-ups here too.

There was also a grocery store and Marion especially liked that part. There was also a bank, a music room, some big bubbles, a sports room, and more. It was so cool. We will have to come back again.

It was night when we left, and there were some really pretty Christmas lights around. Oliver liked this little boy statue with the firehose.

We were right by the St. George Tabernacle, and there was a choir practicing for a concert they were going to have later in the evening. We sat and listened for a little while. My friend Stefanie came to meet us, so I went outside with the girls so they could play, but Oliver really wanted to stay and listen. Chris stayed with Oliver inside for awhile so he could hear the music.

We went over to the St. George Temple to see the Nativity and the Christmas lights. Stefanie’s little girl Sophie had a good time playing with Elora. It was fun to see them play together.

Chris with all the kids up near the temple.

James liked Stef’s baby, Stockton. Hopefully we can get together more so the kids can get to know each other better! They grow up so fast!
