Christmas Party

Just before Christmas we decided to make Christmas tacos and invite everyone we know. We just posted an invite on facebook, and it was funny how many people didn’t think we were serious. So if you ever see a random invite to come eat food at our house – we mean it! We love to cook for lots of people and share with all our friends. We made some awesome red, green, and white tortillas and we made fish, pork, beef, and chicken so people could try all kinds of tacos.

You can fit a lot of people in our kitchen.

Multi-colored tortillas – they tasted really good.

I intended for the grown-ups to get to sit at the table, but the kids took it over as well as most of our floor. James was freaked out by all the people he didn’t know, so he ended up eating while walking around the room. The grown-ups had to stand or sit on the couch – and since we have a white couch, it is probably okay that the kids ended up with the table.

Afterwards we went to the church for the annual Christmas program. Elora and Oliver got to sing a few songs. Elora was a little nervous. James and Marion really enjoyed watching all the kids sing.

Oliver took a lot of pictures of the program. He was enjoying using the camera.

JD gave rides to all the kids while cleaning up the chairs.

I love the people in our town. We have a great time whenever we hang out with the people in the neighborhood.

When we got home the kids decided to dance around the living room. They love each other so much, it is awesome to watch them play.
