T Party

Oliver was learning about the letter T a few weeks ago, so we had a “T” party with tiny plates, triangle shaped foods, toothpicks, and used lots of T words like “tiny triangular tidbits on toothpicks” and conversed about various words that start with T like trains, tops, toys, and more! We learned about C the week before, so we had a lot of C foods represented also.
The kids got a big kick out of the whole thing. I thought it was funny because our lunch was nothing more than peanut butter sandwiches, celery, cheese, pepperoni, and apples, but the kids loved it.
Marion only wanted pepperonis for lunch, but she really liked the toothpicks and tiny cups.
Elora especially loved our fancy T party and has been asking to do it again.

Oliver proudly holding up a shishkabob he made. The best part was that he willingly tried cheese curd, which he has never done before. Sometimes home school is completely awesome.
Marion was excited that her pepperoni was a triangle.
Meanwhile, James hung out in the drawer in the kitchen playing with containers. Such a cute little cookie monster! I find him playing in the strangest places…
