St. George Fun

We went down to St. George to check out the new children’s museum. It was free in December. It is AMAZING. The kids had a great time. We could have stayed way longer than we did, we didn’t even have time to see it all. There is a neat castle themed area that the…

December What We Do

Right before Christmas, my oven died. Awesome timing. So we ordered a new oven and we decided to go ahead and get a new fridge too since we have talked about getting a new one ever since we moved into our house TEN years ago. I can’t believe it still works, it is pretty…

Christmas in Brian Head

Christmas morning we were laying in bed and we could hear the kids wake up and find their stockings. They were SO CUTE. They knew they weren’t supposed to open their presents without us, so they sat excitedly whispering about the stickers they could see, new socks, and the cracker jacks. Marion got a little honey…

Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas in Brian Head this year. The kids love to go to the apartment. We got a real tree from one of our neighbors which was perfect because we had already set up our artificial tree at home. Here are some excited kids on the way to Brian Head!     Marion…

Christmas Party

Just before Christmas we decided to make Christmas tacos and invite everyone we know. We just posted an invite on facebook, and it was funny how many people didn’t think we were serious. So if you ever see a random invite to come eat food at our house – we mean it! We love…

Christmas Time

We went to the Festival of Trees in Orderville this year. The older kids were excited to meet Santa, but James was not impressed. Marion wasn’t really that interested either. But she did go hang out sort of near Santa so we could take a picture.   There were some fun activities for kids…

Oh, Christmas Tree!

Elora started asking to decorate for Christmas as soon as Halloween was over. We managed to hold off until after Thanksgiving. The kids were so excited when it was time to get out the tree!   Oliver loves to play with the Star Wars ornaments we have had since before the kids were born….

T Party

Oliver was learning about the letter T a few weeks ago, so we had a “T” party with tiny plates, triangle shaped foods, toothpicks, and used lots of T words like “tiny triangular tidbits on toothpicks” and conversed about various words that start with T like trains, tops, toys, and more! We learned about…

Kidlets

We love our kidlets, so here are some pictures of them that I find amusing for one reason or another. James loves yogurt, but I left him at the table eating it one day and came back to find this cute face only a mother (and his giggling siblings) could love.   Marion and…

Brian Head Sledding

Cousin Jessie and Grandma and Grandpa came up to Brian Head to go sledding. There was a lot of nice snow in the back of our condo and we of course built an awesome sled run. It is so great this year now that the kids enjoy walking up and down the hill.  …
