The Kidlets

Here are some fun pictures from summer time. Elora and Marion dug through the costume box and found some cute matching ballerina costumes. They proudly announced that they were pretty ballerinas and danced around the kitchen.

Elora was very excited because Marion does not usually dress up. Elora even taught Marion how to do an arabesque.

James likes to steal my tomatoes and take bites out of them. That would be okay except that then he leaves them on the floor. Eeewww… not so fun to step on.

This is the first day James ever played with the sand table. He loved it and the kids were excited that he is getting big enough to play with them.

Green beans everywhere… My parents picked a lot of green beans while we were gone this summer, but we still had tons when we got back. Notice the pot on the floor that is also full of beans. The kids love green beans though and were pretty good about helping us snap beans. I love gardening and I love it most when the kids enjoy working too.

The lawn mower is one of the kids’ favorite toys. On this day it was an airplane. You can tell Scamper missed Elora, because she curled up in her lap for a long time.

We have been wanting a new table, so we bought a butcher block from Ikea on the way home from Hawaii and then bought an entertainment center from Target and put them together to make a great table that has storage underneath. It has been so nice to have a bigger table for our huge family!

We pulled out the stove because we needed to level it and found an amazing floating spoon attached to the side of it. Awesome. I wonder what was on that spoon that made it stick so well?

James thought it was pretty cool too, so he came over and pulled it off for us.

Elora is our bug whisperer. She can catch flies in the house (which she lets go outside instead of having me swat them), and she also caught this little moth that did not seem real interested in flying away.

James learned to high five. So fun! He giggles a lot when he is high fiving his dad.

What a cute little yogurt covered face!
