Winter Fun at Brian Head

We come up to Brian Head the last half of pretty much every week so the kids can ski with Chris. The kids love to play blocks together after a fun day of skiing with Dad.
These are Marion’s two favorite blocks. She calls them “apartments” and loves them because they remind her of our ski apartment. The kids all love coming here.

Marion is getting better at skiing, and still LOVING it!

The large pile of snow from plowing the parking lot just keeps getting bigger. The kids like to pretend they are explorers and climb it. That’s our building in the background. We have had some beautiful days this winter and it has been so fun to bring the kids up here to play in the snow.

Our sweet little ski baby.

Oliver and Elora found this nice spot of deep snow in the trees and call it their clubhouse. They decided to hang out there and make snow angels. Chris and I don’t love to walk over their since we sink in the snow up to our hips…

When we go sledding Marion usually says, “I don’t want to sled! I want to ski! I want to walk!” But once she sees Elora and Oliver go down the hill a lot she usually asks for a turn and loves it.

Oliver likes this sled because he can pull it up the hill with the string. He usually asks me to pull it with him in it, but I say no. But he still always asks…

Elora loves sledding – and of course, eating large blocks of snow. At the same time. All this winter fun has made me actually like winter time – it is so fun to play outside with the kids! They love the snow and will play outside for hours on a nice snow day.
