Ellie’s Birthday Party

Elora’s friend Ellie had a wet and wild birthday party a couple weeks ago. It had been such beautiful weather and then the day before it rained! Luckily the sun came out and we had a beautiful day for the party. Here is Ellie happy with her candles on ice cream (she doesn’t like cake!)

There was a nice pool with a slide set up for the kids to play in.

Elora and Ellie about to play the water balloon toss. These little girls are so cute!

Luckily an older girl was there to play with them, I think they both wanted to hold the balloons more than they wanted to toss them!

There was a slip and slide which was hilarious because my kids have never seen one before. We tried to teach them how to do it, but that didn’t really work – so Chris just pushed them down it. Oliver wasn’t so sure about it at first, but then he started to like it after he watched all the other kids laughing.

Elora thought it was great!

Here is Elora playing her new favorite game – Don’t Eat Pete! There is a board with nine numbers that have gummy bears on them. One child leaves the room, and all the other kids pick which number will be Pete. Then the child comes back and gets to eat the gummy bears until they pick up Pete… then everyone yells “Don’t Eat Pete!!!” We had to make our own game board at home and both our kids ask to play it all the time.

On the way home Oliver REALLY enjoyed his treat bag. He horked down all his candy in about a minute.

Here is Elora with her cute necklace she made and sporting her new sunglasses and hair flowers she got at the party. Super fun day!
